<b>(Above)</b> Bryan Sutton backs off the grip approaching Cadwell's Gooseneck during a 1976 VOC meeting. The machine is his Parkin-HRD Special and, very unusually, he favours a megaphone (with a long slow taper). <b>(Below)</b> Peter Campbell (17, 1951 Comet), Bill Thomas (15, 1950 Rapide Special) and furthest out, Les Irvine (1950 Comet). Large filler cap is for petrol, small for oil which is held in the hollow backbone.
