Ex-factory development engineer Ted Davis has magnificently restored this 1950 499 Grey Flash, one of only 28 made. The stepped-out 2-inch exhaust pipe is normal as is the grey colour scheme. Photo by BMS at the 1976 Vintage MCC Mallory Park race.
