(Above) Three Comets at the Cadwell hairpin. Peter Campbell (1951, 14) and Peter Biles (1952, 3) prefer the tight line inside while Les Irvine (1950, 8) goes for the wide swing. All are series C type with the hydraulically-damped girders, hence the Stevenage-coined description of Girdraulics.
